Kinesiology combines muscle response testing with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and energy medicine. It identifies areas of imbalance in the body and finds the realms which are relevant:
Emotional thoughts and concerns can have a psychosomatic effect
Biochemistry of food digestion
Physical over tiredness due to straining the structure of our body
Energy excesses and deficiencies in our meridians
Once identified kinesiology works towards achieving mind, body & gut balance.
Kinesiology can also be carried out remotely through a hair sample.
"The session was very relaxing, Laura has a very calming energy, and I found it very easy to just switch off and enjoy the experience. The way Laura combined her skills of kinesiology, NLP and hypnosis was wonderful. It all flowed and complemented each other really well. I feel uplifted and balanced after the session".
A wheel balance is great for your initial session. A full wheel balance looks at each of the main muscles linked to our meridians. It is like an MOT for the mind, body & gut.
Do you have a specific area that is troubling you? If so I provide individual bespoke balances to target problem areas including immune, intestinal, hormone and stress balances.
If you want to know what foods your body is sensitive to kinesiology is a powerful way of showing you.
As a qualified naturopathic nutritional therapist I can also provide you with a tailored diet plan including the Gut & Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) nutritional protocol. Please see my dedicated pages on these services. Please note they are subject to a separate and additional cost.
A poorly functioning ileocecal valve (ICV) is very common. It is frequently the cause of “I just don't feel right” together with many types of pain (back, neck etc), inflamed joints, brain fog, low energy, loose bowels, constipation or unexplained digestive complaints.
The proper movement of food through our digestive system is controlled by several valves. The ICV is located between the end of the small intestine and the beginning of the large intestine. It controls the flow of digested food when it leaves the small intestine and goes into the large intestine. It should open and close at appropriate times. If it stays open too long or not long enough, problems occur.
Kinesiology is a great way of carrying out a deficiency screening. I can recommend which foods to eat to add these vitamins and minerals to your diet.
I am a registered practitioner with the supplement companies shown at the bottom of this page - I test for their products in my practice and some are likely to be included in your protocol.
I work with the meridians that hold our emotions. I also use emotional tissue scanning to identify areas where emotions are stored in our body.
I then can use a combination of flower essences, affirmations, hypnotherapy, NLP, IEMT and Rapid Growth Metaphysical Anatomy Technique (MAT®) to help release these emotions.
For an additional £5.00 I can create your own bespoke flower essence to support you emotionally. I do this either through muscle testing, using the psychology of colour or you briefly describe how you are feeling.
We often think of the mind when we think of stored memories and experiences. However, it is believed our chakras also contain a record of each of these events and feelings. Often the experiences we have long forgotten are stored in our chakras. Without knowing it, these buried feelings may remain unprocessed and unresolved. They may be the driving force behind poor health and limiting beliefs.
Coming soon I will be using a combination of kinesiology and Donna Eden's Energy Medicine technique to balance chakras.
