Kinesiology

image27

I am currently studying systematic kinesiology with the Academy of Systematic Kinesiology.

Kinesiology is a holistic therapy which uses muscle response testing to measure the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge.  By doing this, imbalances can be determined and methods to rebalance the mind and body can be indicated.

I plan to use nutritional therapy, vitamin supplementation (I am a student practitioner registered with Cytoplan), life coaching and hypnotherapy to rebalance the mind and body.

Nutritional Therapy

I am currently studying a Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP) diploma in nutritional therapy with the School of Health.

Nutritional therapy is concerned with how food and drink impacts our bodies with special regard to the essential nutrients necessary to support human health.  It considers the physiological and biochemical processes involved in nourishment and how substances in food provide energy or are converted into body tissues.  These nutrients which are the source of energy for our bodies are classed as:  carbohydrates, fats, fibre, minerals, proteins, vitamins, and water.  Good nutrition means obtaining the right amount of nutrients from healthy foods in the right combinations.  Nutritional therapy looks at the diseases that can result from malnutrition and the role food plays in the development of chronic disease and imbalances.

Light Bulb Retreat

Want more light bulb moments?  Why not try this residential combining kinesiology as a diagnostic tool with nutritional therapy, cookery, country walks in beautiful Somerset whilst receiving life coaching and hypnotherapy.  Can include a yoga and juicing package.

The name of this programme was inspired by the visibly animated light bulb moments one of my hypnotherapy clients had.   This client kindly agreed to be observed for my final assessment to become a clinical hypnotherapist.  This included a road trip to the assessment and dinner.  Sometimes an informal approach can be just as therapeutic.
